Transcript Request

Honolulu Community College may not furnish transcripts to students who have unpaid financial obligations. Exceptions will be made in compliance with the U.S. Department of Education’s 34 CRF Part 668 Student Assistance General Provisions effective July 1, 2024.

Transcript requests that require supplementary clarification or external assistance may take additional time for processing.

Financial obligations to the University of Hawaii System must be cleared before requests are processed.

Students who are currently enrolled, or planning to graduate, have the option to send their official transcript after final grades are posted or after their degree is awarded. If these options are not selected, your request will be sent within the normal processing time.

Transcript attachments may be submitted with your online request through the National Student Clearinghouse. Acceptable attachments include AMCAS, PharmCAS, NursingCAS, MCATL, LSAC, and Common Application forms. Do not include attachments such as, resumes, cover-letters, or other similar documents with your transcript request. We reserve the right not to include certain documents with your transcripts and we do not assume responsibility regarding the legibility of your document.

Electronic Transcripts (eTranscripts)

eTranscripts can be sent to any valid email address in a secure certified PDF format. These transcripts are considered official documents and can be validated as they have been digitally signed and certified by the Records Office.

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that the recipient accepts electronic PDF transcripts and that the recipient’s email address is entered accurately as there is a charge for each request regardless of whether the email address entered is valid or not. Once ordered, the recipient’s email address cannot be changed. If the request needs to be sent to a different email address, a new order must be placed. Charges for eTranscripts are nonrefundable.

Once the eTranscript has been processed, the student and/or the recipient will have 30 days from the first day the transcript is opened or accessed to view, print, and save the PDF transcript.

Status of Transcript Order: To check on the status of your online transcript order, please visit the National Student Clearinghouse website. Enter your transcript order number and email address. Your transcript order number is displayed on your order confirmation page and all emails associated with your order.
